We’re currently a staff of two who each wear [too] many hats. We will add more staff as soon as we can afford it. Our current trajectory includes a need for architects, occupational therapists, program specialists, a development director, and a graphic designer. We look for solid problem-solving skills, an enthusiasm for collaboration, and empathy for the disability community.

Tasked with governance over The Universal Design Project, our board of directors will also grow as we grow. We value a diverse skill set, understanding of stakeholders, and empathy for the disability community.

Design Advisors

Our design advisors are people who have a deep knowledge of disability from all sorts of perspectives. They have a crucial role in the research step (#2) and review step (#5) of our universal design process, as they can speak authoritatively about usability from life experience. This is a volunteer role, and we anticipate involving hundreds of people. Interested? Learn more here.
